Sarah Beckman, New Executive Director of Achieve Brown County

 

After an extensive and rigorous search, Achieve Brown County (ABC) is pleased and proud to announce that Sarah Beckman has accepted the position of Executive Director. 

Sarah Beckman joins the ABC staff today, January 10, 2022.  

For the past three years, Sarah was Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Lakeside in Sheboygan where she successfully led the organization forward in serving the community. She has over 12 years of nonprofit experience across the state and was recognized as Emerging Leader of the Year by the Brown County United Way as well as named Young Professional of the Year and to the Green Bay Future 15 by the Greater Green Bay Chamber of Commerce. Sarah has an undergraduate degree in Social Work (Child Welfare emphasis) from UW-Green Bay and an MBA from St. Norbert College. She has a long history of community engagement, having served on several community leadership teams and committees. She recently relocated back to Green Bay and has a clear commitment to making a difference in Brown County. 

“I am thrilled to be joining the ABC team and returning to Green Bay and Brown County where I spent much of my career in the nonprofit sector,” said Beckman. “I look forward to working with the many organizations and partners that are involved in ABC’s mission. From cradle to career, it’s important that all young people have what they need to succeed in school, work and life and what better place then Brown County for us to come together and collectively work to make that happen.”
