Early Literacy Asset Map Team

Our BIG Goal

Ensure parents and community partners who work with them have current information about and access to the resources and services in Brown County that support early literacy.

“Where are the early literacy resources in Brown County?”

We are finding them & developing a resource directory for parents and providers.

The First Pilot of the Resource Directory

The next steps:

  • Have Partners Who Work With Families Use It
  • Gather Feedback from providers about how to improve usability (filters, content, visuals, other)
  • Use feedback to inform a more robust design and developed version

Do you run or program or have a resource to share?

We are gathering information on who in Brown County is contributing to early literacy in some way.

Examples include:

  • Storytimes
  • Tutoring Services
  • Providing books
  • Child-based Program around Reading

Join the Team

Help us build a Brown County where every child has access to the services they need to become a reader and a leader.

Join the Asset Mapping team and work alongside community members who are creating a better pathway for all kids.
