Our Board of Directors oversee the nonprofit side of our Collective Impact Partnership. Responsibilities of the board include strategic and financial oversight, chairing or co-chairing our committees and upholding the Collective Impact Partnership’s commitment to our vision of a Brown County where cradle-to-career systems are equitable for all young people regardless of race, income, zip code or circumstance.

Individuals interested in our Board of Directors can fill out a volunteer application here. Your volunteer application will be reviewed by the board development committee at their next meeting (typically within 1-2 months of receipt). Meet our

board development committee

Our board development committee is comprised of board members and non-board members. It is chaired by a member of the board and currently meets on the second Wednesday of odd months from 10:00-11:00am via Microsoft Teams. Activities of this committee include working to understand and respond to the ongoing development needs of the board and committees, maintaining a board matrix, supporting identification of new board and committee members and helping recruit and orient new board and committee members.

Meet our

community council

Our community council is comprised of board members and non-board members. Non-board members include diverse voices from our community such as parents, youth and people who work for organizations interaction with youth as well as other non-board members who currently serve on ABC Strategy Teams, Action Teams, Work Groups or the Data Advisory Team. This committee is co-chaired by two members of the board and is in a design and launch phase. The Community Council will meet for the first time in 2026. Activities and goals of this committee for 2026 will be coming soon!

finance committee

Our finance committee is comprised of board members and non-board members. It is chaired by the Treasurer of the board and currently meets on the last Friday of odd months from 10:00-11:00am via Microsoft Teams. The committee has an additional budget meeting each October. Regular meetings consist of the review of monthly financials, development and maintenance of finance related policies, review of audits and the 990, support of the annual budgeting process and more. governance & policy committee

Our governance & policy committee is a new committee of the Collective Impact Partnership. This committee will be comprised of board members and non-board members. It will be chaired by a member of the board and will meet 4-6 times per year. Activities of this committee will include review of institutional bylaws, policies and processes as well as an annual risk assessment of the organization. Priorities of this committee when it launches will include a review and update to the bylaws, supporting an update to the employee handbook of the organization and completing a risk assessment of the organization to determine next steps and work of the committee. This committee is recruiting new members now including an individual to join the board of directors and chair the committee. Meet our

fundraising committee

Our Collective Impact Partnership has been working to launch a fundraising committee. It will begin meeting in 2026. This committee will be comprised of board members and non-board members. It will be chaired by a member of the board and will meet 4-6 times per year (possibly more to start). Activities of this committee will include support of donor stewardship and relationship building, providing input into the annual fundraising strategy/plan, review or development of fundraising policies and assisting backbone staff with various fundraising strategies or campaigns throughout the year.
